Today I watched the movie Invincible, this was not a movie in my must watch lists, but being done with school, and looking to fill the void I sought solace on the couch with my pal the TV remote.
Invincible is one of those movies that make you quiver with excitement. The trembling is not triggered by the game, but by the strength, courage, and impetus people harbor within themselves, completely oblivious to its existence. Did the novice, recreational football player that worked as a bar tender really think he had a shot at making the Eagles team? Or, was it the wrath of a woman that drove him to prove himself? Whatever the reason might be, the consequences were outstanding. Vince, surmounted the resistance of his fellow players, challenged his age, discovered the inner forces he was gifted with, and surrendered to his passion of football. This transformed him into a person he never knew he was capable of being.
This movie made me think, how many of us know about our inner forces? More importantly how many of us use our inner powers to become Invincible? Do we succumb to being an average individual that get through life without leaving our foot prints behind us? Foot prints don’t necessarily mean being drafted as a pro NFL player or being featured on the Fortune magazine. For some of us, it just might be looking back at your life and wishing you could do it all over again, just as it was, with no regrets!
